Looking Forward to Spring
As we look forward to warmer weather and the changes it brings, the children are learning about Modernist painter, Georgia O'Keeffe. Inspired by nature, O'Keeffe often painted flowers and landscapes. Using pastels, a limited palette, and radial compositions, our young artists are creating vibrant spring flowers of their own.

Carroll Creek Students Participate in YAM Exhibition at the Delaplaine
It’s YAM (youth art month) at the Delaplaine Visual Arts and Education
Center. Throughout the month of March, you can view artwork by children from
all corners of Frederick County. Please join me in congratulating Navaeh Murry,
Loie Cristali, and Dylan Jack, whose expressive, colorful, and energetic work
was chosen to represent CCMPCS in this year’s exhibition.
