All of the children at CCM, kindergarten - eighth grade, participated in the creation of our Unity/Variety collage. Each class used a different combination of analogous colors to design their square. The children began with squares and triangles and had the option of cutting their shapes in half to create multiple shapes with a variety of scales. They played with symmetrical and asymmetrical design ideas before gluing their shapes into place. Then, they added their square to the group and watched the artwork grow.
