Our Primary students worked together to create Collagraphic printing plates by drawing with glue on a cardboard surface. Students learned that printmaking provides artists with the tools to create an image many times as they experienced the process of making multiple prints from a single plate. They inked the plates in pairs and carefully pulled, signed, and dated their creations, achieving beautiful variations in contrast and mood.
