The Art of Math and Science

Our Upper Elementary artists are developing cubist inspired works of art in two or three dimensions as they practice identifying and creating geometric shapes. Students will continue to reinforce geometry as they explore snowflake forms and use templates to build truncated octahedrons.

Our Lower Elementary artists are using the hexagon to develop beautifully patterned and original snowflake designs as they reinforce their knowledge of Antarctica’s climate.

Our five-year-old Primary students continue their exploration and practice of the elements of art with a focus on color. The children are creating painted, rainbow flowers as they reinforce their knowledge of the rainbow and primary, secondary, warm, and cool colors.
